Become a Member

Our members contribute to the goals of marinecultures.org and receive regular updates on our activities. The association is open to individuals, corporate members and institutions, as well as partner organizations.

Membership Types

Students
Individuals who actively contribute to the goals of marinecultures.org and are enrolled in an educational institution recognized by our organization.
Membership Dues: None.

Individuals
Individuals who actively or passively contribute to the goals of marinecultures.org.
Membership Dues: Starting at CHF 50 / year.

Associate (Partners, Institutions)
Membership Dues: Starting at CHF 100 / year.

Corporate
Corporate members that contribute actively or passively to the goals of the organization and that do not stand in conflict with the latter’s activities.
Membership Dues: Starting at CHF 500/year.

Honorary Membership
Individuals or institutions who have in some way earned special recognition from marinecultures.org.

Active Membership
Active memberships are restricted to individuals who actively shape the organization’s work and mission. Active members participate in the association’s general assembly and thus contribute to marinecultures.org’s direction in accordance with the legal and statutory competence of the general assembly.

Tax Exemption

Donations to marinecultures.org and membership dues are tax-deductible in Switzerland and possibly in other countries. A donation statement will be issued for each payment.
